I'm looking for a programmable PDA that is Access-friendly.

Any hints?

Thanks in advance.

If you purchase units with Palm OS (not just Palm Pilots there are lots of them)
You can also purchase program for the units running Palm OS called
"Cat Scan" by Stevenscreek software

Then you can save data to the Palm unit and when you dock it is uploaded as an ASCII file.
This file can then be linked or imported into Access. Here is a DEMO on my WEB site to show you.

HandDbase is a relational database software program for the Palm OS, that also has a desktop that translate HanDbase files into .csv files that can be imported into excell or Access. They have also have come out with a Access conduit, but I have not played or purchased that, so naturally I cannot comment on it. But the Desktop portion that runs on windows based machines works real well. Check out the software at:

Have a nice day ;-)
