Has anybody out there had any dealings with a PCM UPS. We have a brand new one and it comes up in bypass mode. Seems to be working alright, when uplugged the output goes to backup battery, also the site wiring fault light is on and the plug wiring is right and the plug on the ups is wired right.

i just set up an APC 3000 system with 3 battery units. it went in to a new server room in a new building. the problem i had was that the unit would constantly run off battery back up. upon further investigation, the electritions wired the electrical outlet for 120v @ 20amps. it needed to be 220v @ 30amps. repluged the system back in after the outlet was rewired and no more problems. the electrical connector on the unit should have a tag the tells the required voltage. also read the documentation and try tek support from the mfg.
hope this helps.
good luck
AJ
