PCI Communication Deivce always comes up

Put a new PCI US Rob. modem in and boot. Windows found the modem and installed it. But when windows wanted to install PCI Communication Deivce drivers. I tried C:\windows\system but it didn't help. Also, tried to just let it find it but it wouldn't install the PCI Communication Deivce. Please help if you can.

Also, tried a ISA modem and it still wanted PCI Communication Deivce installed.

Use the driver disk that came with the modem to install the proper drivers.

I tried the drivers but it still wants PCI Communication Decivce. I think that there maybe a onboard PCI Decivce.

What do you think?

Its possible.. Boot into BIOS and disable the onboard modem if one is in there..
