Connecting to Host over internet. No problem connecting and controling but the Ctrl-alt-del button does not send command to Host or (probably) the Host does ignore the Ctrl-Alt-Del button. The Ctrl-Alt-Del button is available on the remote (NOT greyed out)
Host is NT 4.0 with servicepack 6 running pcAnywhere 9.2, Remote is Windows XP with pcAnywhere 11.
Must have Ctrl-alt-del to log on and off. Please help!

Thank you in advance

Juerg

I don't have access to precisely that version, but I know later PcA versions had a setting buries somewhere in the options page to allow sending that sequence over the connection instead of affecting the client machine. Hope this helps...

Thank you for the suggestion. However, the problem must be on the host side. We have tested it with other hosts where CTRL-ALT-DEL was working.
So the question is still how we can get CTL-ALT-DEL to work on this particular pcAw host.

Best regards

Thank you again. PCA is running as a service. Based on the information on the link you gave, we tried to change away from the display compatibility mode on the host - but then we could not connect anymore.
We can reboot the machine remotely, transfer files, etc. but it does not accept the CTL-ALT-DEL command (this command is available on the client).
Guess we will have to find a different tool...
