Good Morning, I have a host at our office. PCA Ver 10.5 running on a Win98 box.

I can connect to the Host from a Win95 box with no problem.

I cannot connect to the host from a WinXP home box using PCA Ver 10.5 modems or a laptop using WinXP Pro.

I am not using authentication on either box.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance....

Further information....
I set my home box as a remote and to "Wait for a call" when I called the remote from the office everything connected fine.

So it is my opinion it is the host settings and everything looks fine to me. I am using a US Robotics 56k external fax modem. I do not use the modem as a fax.

I also set both boxes for PC Anywhere authentication.

Thanks

Just a note. There are two kinds of PCA. One for XP and one for all other windows versions.

Just trying to help.
