For some reason my Windows XP Pro machine won't reboot. It will act like it's goint to (Start\Turn Off Computer\Restart). Then it will go through the motions and give me the message the your computer is shutting down message, but then it just hangs and never reboots...

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what did you do to fix the problem???

Thanks,

Bud

If its XP not shutting down, I'd suggest this is an XP not a hard drive issue. Better posted in forum779.

do you have a logitech mouse and roxio cd writer program? if yes that may be the problem, check ms database
