Hello,

I am trying to send some documentation to committee members, however I have a PC and they have a Mac. I have an Access 97 report I have exported into Excel that I initially sent them, however they do not have Excel, so I sent a .rtf document, and they were still unable to open the file. What would be the best format for me to send this file? I do not know anything about Macs, so please help!

Thanks in advance!

what do the have would be the 1st thing we need to know So long and thanks for all the fish.

what program do they use, apple works, office 2001, etc. becuase apple works can not open an excel porgrams and on the pc they don't make a format that exports to apple works So long and thanks for all the fish.

If they don't have "Office", it's best to send TEXT - they will understand it.

Or you create a PDF file for them to view the file in.

You can download the creater from Adobe.com and the reader as well. Most Apple Macs and PC's have the reader installed any way.

Thank you! I tried sending the file in Text format but the users didn't know how to open the file yet. I believe I will go with the PDF format or HTML format from now on. I figure people should be able open those no matter what.

Thanks again!
