PC Server 330 : Unexpected SCSI Command Failed

I have an IBM PC Server 330, ref. 8640-PB0, and I cannot do a low-level format of my hard drives (IBM SCSI DHCS) nor a "Verify Disk Media".
Indeed, for each of this action, the message "Unexpected SCSI Command Failed" appears in the title bar.

Besides, at the detection time of the boot, all the two hard drives are set as "Device Not Ready".

From where can the problem come ? Are my hard drives dead ?
