Hi,

Does anyone have a manual for the scripting part for PC PRO 9300?

Thanks

Open PCPro and press F1. Your programming manual should come up. If you search for "script" it will take you to that section.

Or you could open the "PCPro Manual" pdf and do the same thing.

I can send it to you if you don't have it.

Thanks for that, makes sense. As I am currently not near a PC Pro, if you do have the PDF that would help a lot.

Thanks very much for this, very helpful indeed.

I read through this but there is a specific thing I am trying to achieve but it didn't say how to do this. Maybe the scripting isn't even the right tool.

Basically I am simply trying to get a list up of all the extensions and their names. Is there a way of extracting this data from the system? I could obviously go to command mode and do command 771 and type each extension but as I have several thousands number ranges, that's annoying. In Matworx on the 2000IPS I used easily be able to run these and other type of reports. I can't seem to figure it out with PC PRO.

Try this; It's in the PCPro manual, appendix C.
The List Commands is the extended commands that can be used by
a script plug-in. In this List Commands, there are the extended commands
for system data lists that read and display the system data assigned
in SV8300, and the extended commands for functions that
implement such as a system reset, the time correction of the system
and the fault information read.
The list commands are used by the [Script] menu of the [Tools] category
in Standard Mode.

@Belevedere,

Thanks very much for this. I read through the manual and concluded that there isn't a way of directly listing up all the names and extensions in one report.

Instead, in the script editor using cmd: @STN5 (for IP multiline terminals) and clicking read gives one all the programmed stations into the script.

Replacing the @STN cmd in the first column with CMD 771 (name assignment) and clicking read then gives one all the names to the already populated extension column.

Finally the script can be saved as a CSV file and further edited in Excel if needed.

Kind of simple once one understands the above although why they added pretty much all the commands bar L771 is a mystery to me.
