PC not detecting new 160 Gig hard drive.

I want to replace my 20G hard drive with a 160G, but the Bios doesn't detect the new hard drive. I can't find a Bios upgade for Biosta M5SAA motherboard. I ran out of ideas to try.

Unfortunately no. The only options on the table have been mentioned above (aside from replacing the motherboard). See the links as a reference.

The manufacturer disk usually does come with a diagnostics and partitioning utility, as well as the overlay software that was talked about. Only the overlay part would have a chance at getting around it, but at the sacrifice of other features.
