Hey Everyone,
We have one property that we bought and already had Micros. At that property, they use a different sign on screen that has the terminal name in the bottom left corner. None of our other properties have this and we would like to add that to them. Does anyone know how to do this? Where the files, if any, are located and how to modify them. It seems to be related to the touchscreen template that is being used for their sign on screen. Thanks for looking.

Andy

According to me this is defined by the Touchscreen template. You must select one that brings this property scheduled. An example of one that has it is 103 Table Object1 in Pos Configurator | Devices | Touchscreens | General | Touchscreen Template. This templates are defined in the .cfg files of the ETC directory, for example you can create an OpsDisplayUser.cfg to have custom templates.

In Table Object1 the part that defines this is the following:

InformationBox
Rectangle 711, 0, 55, 256
Active SignIn, Idle, Transaction
right_status 12, -1, center, "ARIAL", 16, BOLD
End

One of my coworkers pointed me in the right direction. Use 103 table object 1. Then go into the ts designer and now you can modify the login screen to have a logo, which is what we wanted, or anything else you want on there. Very simple and easy. I am going to deploy this to all our sites this week.

You may also set something up under Device Tab - Smart Keys Button
