How Can I share files between a PC(win 98) & MAC with out using 3rd party software.
My PC is connected in a hab & there are three machines & a HP 5000 printer, Applelaser writer how can I share files with them & also the printers.

Assuming the macs are running OSX, they can run samba, which should be installed, but may need setup.

Historicaly, Macs have used Applealk for file sharing, and TCP/IP for internet access. Windows used NetBIOS/NetBUEI/SMB/CIFS for file sharing and TCP/IP for internet access.

With OS9 Macs started using TCP/IP for both, and in OSX they can emulate SMB/CIFS

hope this helps! I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
