I tried severl different monitors and outlets, my monitor, does not turn on? I hear the pc, turn on, fan, and powe supply kick in, NO monitor shows up, it does not even look like it picks it up, and recgonizes it.

I tried following:
Replaced AGP display monitor card.
Tried different Power Supplys.

No such luck, what does this sound like, motherboard fried, any suggestions?

Is this a new build, or did it just quit? Need some info on your system.

cmos battery good? Sometimes I've had luck simply resetting the CMOS.

Does your PC have on board Graphics or is it a add on card? If you have a add on graphics card, check it on another pc. If it works, test your monitor with it as well. If both work on another pc, then your down to the MB and BIOS for your answers. Replace your graphics card back into the system, who knows, reseating it may just fix the problem. Wouldnt be the first time that has happened. Hook your Monitor back up, turn your system back on after resetting your BIOS. If it still fails to show up its going to be expencive. Are you hearing any beeps at all, and what BIOS is it running?

Hope that helps
Brett

Very possible that the motherboard is also dead. Just happened to me the other day. Purchased a new one and it was fine.

I had this problem with a motherboard I bought a while back. It wouldn't work with a 9800 pro or any other card except a Radeon 7500 and a 8500. The motherboard was a crappy Biostar.

I was able to get it working by flipping a few small switches on the cirucit board of the agp card. I read some "hack" posting on the internet and thought "what the hell", nothing to lose.

I checked to make sure I had enough power to feed the card.

Another time (different computer), I had to put an old graphics card in a play with the BIOS settings, and then put the new card in and eventually (with a little luck) it turned on.

Just my experiences.
