I got the PC Geiger Tuesday, and have been trying to get the PCI Bus Monitor to work with no avail. When I turn on my machine, but before BIOS screen appears the PCI monitor works and shows me the pci bus frequency, and the debug code, but when the Bios screen appears, it just shows the last debug code 80FF and the indicator LEDs flicker. In my bios setup screen, it works also, but with zero values, of course. It works just fine in my wife's machine, so I know its not the device itself. It was suggested I try the PCI card in slot 3. I have tried it in all pci slots with no luck. When I wrote vicstech, they said I had to disable the "Auto Detect DIMM/PCI Clk". This setting does not appear in my bios, nor does it appear in modbin when I try to mod my latest bios bin file. When I wrote them back to explain this, they replied:
"This problem is caused by PCI clock suspension.
This happens on other Debug card(POST card) device as well.
User can fix this problem by following method.
a) Change on BIOS setting from BIOS SETUP screen
b) Change BIOSsetting by BIOS modification tool such as CBROM.EXE(for Award BIOS) or AMIBCP.EXEc) Ask Motherboard maker to provide you non-PCI clock suspention
type BIO"
I cant find this PCI Clock Suspension or suspend anywhere. It may even be the SiS645 chipset with its Mutiol that is keeping it from working.
Well, I have written Abit, and will probably get a reply right after the sun explodes, so can anyone help me with this?
Thanks

Hi, I have the same product and a very similar problem, my code is 80.26, hte manual says its reserved but the answer they gave you is the same one as the FAQs page so it must be a common fault. If you fix it can you please let me know how you did it. thanks
