PC freezes betw. 20 sec. to 2 min.

HI:
I just installed a new ASUS CUW-AM mobo into a micro-atx tower. No matter what I swap (I.E. memory, removed all drives, swapped keyboards, etc), the PC will freeze (no keyboard functions)whether I'm in DOS or the BIOS. In BIOS, the clock w/ freeze w/ no keyboard functions, & in DOS, the cursor w/ still blink w/ no keyboard functions again. I've exhausted all means known to me along w/ checking other forums. ANY suggestions are appreciated before I ship this mobo back.

A lot of the newer MB need good power. What PSU are you using? I had a friend with the same problem and he replaced his PSU with a good Antec TruePower and the ASUS lock up problem went away.

I have a generic 350w PS.

could be the power supply as suggested, could be a bad configuration somewhere *especially if you're attempting to over clock the cpu*..

But it also could very well be a bad Mother Board -> it happens
