I have an IBM T22 and am trying to play a DVD from it on my TV. I have an S Video cable running from the computer directly to the TV. I believe it recognizes that the TV is there as a second monitor, but I can't get the computer screen to show up on the TV. I am running Windows XP Professional by the way. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
ACH

I'm not all too familar with laptops, but when you could hook them up to a monitor, there would be an option in the BIOS setup where you selected which output you wanted to use. Could this be the case for your S-Video output?

Press the fn button (lower left, next to ctrl) and f7 together. This switches between screen w. no tv, screen w. tv and no screen w. tv

Hope this helps

I have tried the function-F7 technique and it doesn't work. I don't know why, because it should...

Another long shot, but maybe you have to enable or change something in your drivers
