In regards to Credit Card Processing anfn installing PC Charge Pro Server, has anyone installed this, and if so did you install it on the server or on a workstation?

Any insights appreciated.

We have been using PC Charge Server since April. It is installed on our SQL server. The PC Charge side runs great, but in my opinion Macola could have done a better job with integration.

Yes - we have up to 12 users using PC Charge at one time - both in pre auth for CC, billing, etc...

Do you have 12 licences? We have ES and we would like to use it but we are told you need a licence for each user and a licence for each service as well. Is that your understanding?

Provided that you will only have one batch per day -- that is one settlement which will result in one deposit to your bank, you need one service license and 12 user licenses. The user licenses are cheap, about $200 per.

We purchased a copy of PC Charge with unlimited users - have not had a problem with the setup at all - Our sales reps pre-auth the cards, then they get billed at the time of shipping -

We settle once a day.

I have several questions for you, if you could help out...

Are you using ES.

Our issues are:

- You can only have one credit card account, so if you want to do Visa and MasterCard you account needs to handle both

- You can add additional users, but they have to be only 8 characters long, (in Progress this is not a problem you can setup a new user and link it to PC Charge, different story in ES)

- ES does not send the additional info (name, address, expire date, and code for credit card) to PC Charge so you will not get your discount

Do you have any experience with these issues?
