Hi Folks,

Not sure if this is the right forum so sorry in advance if thats the case.

I've got a user who has a w98 pc (not sure of the specs)at home and has a Xp P4 2.6GH in his office, which was recently upgraded from a W98 pc. On both pc's he is running PC anywhere V9.2

Before he upgraded his office machine from 98 to XP he could dial in from his W98 pc at home and everything connected perfectly and he was able to work on a particular application that is written in Pascal. Now when he connects (via dial up) to the XP machine in work from his 98 pc at home the screen is distorted and it runs pretty slow.

Was thinking that he should upgrade to the latest version of PC anywhere, or problem could be with the settings for his external v92 blaster modem are not set to optimum.

Any help on this would be received with thanks as I've never used PC anywhere.

You may wish to take a look at the resolution setting on the XP machine. Perhaps it is set higher now than before it was upgraded? If so, perhaps lowering it would help?

PcAnywhere 9.2 is not suppose to works on windows 2000 and XP. So it probably your problem.
