I have got a problem connecting my PC 2 Panasonic KX-TA 308 I am using
a RS232c cable and I have used a telephone device to program the PBX
,and i have connected my PC to the PBX using a programmator which could
read the PBX parameters.

I want to capture call logs, using a data dump terminal ,but still
couldn`t get more than the system parameters no more,I couldn`t get any
call
info.

Could you please help in this issue.`

I have configured the PBX to print outgoing calls ,and also configured RS232C parameters as follows:
Com setting : 9600B
8 bits
mark
1-bit

i am already using one called Simple Terminal 1.0,and the problem is that i could only system parametrs data but not call logs,i have tried to change the settings for producing an SMDR but with no output...

you need to connect with a null modem cable

panasonic switchs are particular about which one you use

I have found the radio shack ones work the best

I created some delphi code to open a terminal to box.
When computer and box are connected I got call info as raw ascii.
But I want to know is there any wayto get log from from when i connect ?
I mean when computer is not connected to box,are call log saved on box,how to get them out?

I dont know which language you wrote your code.
But email me at delphilord@hotmail.com may we can help each other.

Like most other phone systems, there is no memory or buffer to store calls from the past. You have to leave a dedicated PC plugged in 24 hours a day.
