pbx ip address

can someone please tell me how to get the ip address on an option 11 and an option 81. i am pretty sure it is ld 117. i just want to be sure because from what i understand, ld 117 you have to be very careful.

ok, so a follow up, how do i tell which one is the correct ip address for ip connectivity between two switches.....

That will not be on the ELAN. That will be the NODE IP set up on the TLAN. I am assuming you are asking about IP trunks. The ELAN only communicates within the local PBX equipment.For those that will say I am wrong don't start throwing in the Geo redundant crap because as far as the switch is concerned the MGCs are local.

What I am trying to get across is that the ELAN from one PBX does not communicate to the ELAN of another PBX.

in LD 117, type stat serv. You'll see the node ID listed as well as the ELAN addresses of the elements in the node.
