path to folder

i DON´T work with the folder "my documents" "my music" or "my wahtever" how can i do to windows explorer opens in "c:\" instead of "my documents" folder???

are you talking about going to "start" "run" and typing explorer.exe?

just tack on c: at the end and it will start in the c:explorer.exe c:

You can make a shortcut on ur desktop and have it point to this path:

X:\windows\explorer.scf

"X:\" being the root drive(the one ur logged in under, Usually C:\)

That will start you under the root drive also, kind of like what nlm9802 stated, but without typing it under the run menu. This will give you the "Windows Explorer Folder" view instead of the "My Computer" view of things...like with the tree on the left pane. It just opens up the folder link for ya so it saves you a step or two.
