Patch 2 for ePO 2.x. Questions.

I have recently been given responsibility for our ePO server. I've been asked to apply "Patch 2 for ePO 2.x". Having limited experience with ePO, I have some questions I hope that can be answered here.

Currently, we are running ePO v2.5.1.213

First, it's possible the patch is already installed. I noticed the patch EPO2X2.ZIP is present on the server and the contents extracted. Is there a way to tell if this update is applied?

Second, I noticed that this patch will push out a new version of the agent to all attached workstations. Some of our users are primarily remote and only attach to the network via VPN or RAS dialup. Will workstations with an agent that hasn't been updated still communicate with the ePO server for policy enforcement and DAT updates?

1. You can view the report of the agent versions via the ePO server console.

2. All computers that have the epoagent installed will connect to the eposerver as per the policy settings for the group they belong to.
