Hi,

Is there any way I can store a password in encrpted form in the SQL database? Do I need to use a different datatype for this?

The answer depends on the encryption methodology. I've used varchar to store an encrypted password. nvarchar or varbinary may be more appropriate for you application. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
