Password Saving

Mostly in Firefox and Chrome I get a prompt to save passwords. I do not want this prompt to happen and also when it does prompt me it is picking up a phone number field instead. I read about this online, reoders my field, added autocomplete = off at the form level and input level but to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks.

I believe autocomplete and prompting to save passwords are two different things ... Saving passwords is a browser feature, and I don't think it's possible through HTML or ASP code to block this, though it could probably be done with scripting.

Ok, thanks. My biggest issue is the prompt from Chrome and IE.
