Password Reset 3X8 DR5 1

I recently bought a used KSU and cannot program it. Is there a way to reset the system password? I have tried "STARTUP" but this does not work.

Default password is 266344 if you have not tried that yet.

You must do the Feature**startup (password=266344) within 15 minutes of powering up the KSU, this will wipe out old users programming.

I tried that first and it doesn't seem to do anything. I am thinking the previous owner must have changed the password. It even asks for a password when I try config or admin.

You tried F**config and entered config again as the password?
Ya I forgot you need the current password to restart lol.

If you can find the memory capacitor on the circuit board inside the housing, load it down whith about a 6 ohm resistor until fully discharged, all programming including passwords return to default.

That was it, I did not know the password was "config". Thanks for your help. Now I have to get busy programming.
