Current System: Windows NT
GoldMine 4.0
Crystal 8.0

When adding a GoldMine DBF into Crystal through Data Explorer, I am receiving a prompt to enter a password.

I have attempted to use a live DBF and a copied DBF, with both receiving the same prompt. Please also note there is no password protection for this DBF.

It is imperative for a future project to link Crystal reports to a live GoldMine DBF, or worse case scenario a copy.

The only way, thus far to use these DBF’s is through MS Access which is another added step which I would like to eliminate.

Any help would be appreciated.

Update:

I have also attempted this on GoldMine 5.5 with no luck. The same problem still exists.
