I would like to password protect the lock button in a document, so that anyone trying to unlock and modify the macro or restricted areas on the document do not have access. The provided document protection is not working. If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

Why not protect the whole macro?
or if they need acces lett the part you want to be protected run in different project (like personal workbook)

With regards

Mike

Not clear on what the situation is. Is this a Word document? Are you protecting for forms? Is the protection passworded? If the users do not ever need to unprotect the document (protected for forms that is), you could remove UnProtect Document from the menu.

Could you clarify a bit more?

The document I am trying to lock or protect was made in Word by a Template, and uses Macros. I have successfully protected the macro. However, I need to lock or protect the document that uses the macro. I have not been able to lock the document in a way that blocks someone who knows how to use the view - toolbars - forms - unlock. Is there a way to lock or protect the document, before and after using the macro, so that no one can lock/unlock or protect/unprotect the document unless they have the password? I hope this makes things more clear.
Thanks.

If you protect the document for forms, you have the ability to use a password. So make a password. If te user does not have the password, they can not unprotect the document.
