I am trying to remove Norton Anti-Virus 2003 (Corporate Edition) from client's pc. I am prompted for a Password. No one in my office has any clue what it is. I tried everything that I can think of to no avail.

ANY AND ALL HELP AND SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED.

Thanks in advance.

well if you have the GRC.DAT file from the install package you can see what it is by looking at "VPUninstallPassword" ... however its encrypted

You are incredible. You saved the day (and my ass)!

Well be,

For those of you that have had a password set by their company. (My employer gives SAV to all home users) Search the registry for UseVPUninstallPassword and change it's value to zero. Then you don't have to worry about the encrypted password. I just tokk Auger282's solution one step further.

Have you tried NoNav9. It's a batch file that will remove most Norton products.
