Good day...I have a question about scanning with antivirus software..How can I make sure that ALL files on my computer are scanned? I continue to get the message that the antivirus software is unable to scan because the file is password protected...Any quick fix or am I looking at a looooong day to correct? I am running WinXP Home Edition. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, once again!! THANKS

If you are running programs like AdAware that have Zipped password protected files or you use other zipped password protected files then the virus scanner will be unable to open them.

It should not be a worry because malware will be unable to open them either.

Your normal type of passworded zipped files will by scanned when they are opened if you have your virus scanner set for "all files".
