Password Protect Design View

I am unveiling a database in the near future for just a small purpose in my office and was curious if it was possible to password protect the design view of a form so the user is not able to make any changes to the database. Is there a way to do this, or some other way to make it so no changes can be made to the database?

I've gone through all the MS Access help screens and everything is for password protecting either the VBA code or the whole database itself. I want to be able to let any user open the database, but not be able to see the design view. Is this possible?

Hi andegre,
A very simple way to avoid users trying to co-design the application, is to set Startup Options. In the menu-bar, go to Tools, StartUp and uncheck the options you want. To get surpass the startup-setting is starting the app holding the shift-key down.

Freznel's solution is good. We are working in exactly this way. But it does mean that you have to setup User Level Security. If your database is very 'clean' ie. all good code, etc, etc, then the mde option will work. If not,then you risk unexpected crashes caused by running errors.

Regardless of how you try to solve this, make a backup copy of your db before you do anything!
