I have 3 x yellow folders that DO NOT contain docs. ( I know how to password protect docs). - Is it possible to password protect a folder? The reason being 'cos I cannot protect the pics that are in them. At the moment to keep from preying eyes I keep the 3 x folders in "C" drive and right click to select hide. This is sort of primitive though. - Anyone know anything?? - Thankyou.

I don't know how to Password a Folder in ME but
you can password protect Files in a Compressed Folder.

If you want to do this in My Documents click on File>New>Compressed Folder. Name the folder what ever you want. Make sure you have .zip at the end of the name. Now open your new folder.Don't do anything with it just yet. Now go to the folder that has your photos and open it. Make the two open folders so they are side by side. Right Click on one of the photos and drag it to the Open Compressed Folder and click on Copy Here. Don't click on Move Here because you want to practice this first. Now you see a copy of your photo file in the Zip folder. Close the Compressed Folder. You might close yourself out of MY Documents so open MY Documents again and go to your Zip Folder. Right Click on the Zip floder click on Encrypt enter a Password Confirm Password and click OK.

Now open the Zip folder and you see your photo file click on it and try to open it. You can't open it with out entering your Password. No matter how many files you have in the Zip Folder you only need one password. Now the the Zip folder can be opened but the files inside can't with out your Password. After you practice this for a while you can Move all your photos to the Zip Folder and Delete them from your old folders. Save your password in a safe place bacause if you loose or forget it you will never be able to retrieve it.

Before you move all your photos to the Zip Folder right click on the closed folder and Decrypt it. After you move all your files to the Zip Folder Incrypt again. Any time you want to add a file to the folder you have to Decrypt and then Incrypt again. You can use the same Password if you want.

Good luck
