We have just installed a new company e-mail system and are now using Microsoft Outlook Express 6 on one of the computers which is running Windows 2000. We have 3 employees accessing their email on this machine and each employee has their own password. The computer is meant to be set to remember the passwords automatically. However, every time that Outlook Express is opened, the user is prompted to enter all 3 passwords.

We were originally experiencing this problem with outlook express 5 and so downloaded outlook express 6 thinking that this may solve the problem. We are checking a single account on other windows 2000 machines without any problems

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this

Do you have all accounts setup as a seperate identity? Sounnds like the accounts are setup under one identity.

Thanks for your help. Finally got brave enough this week to try editing the registry and that solved the problem

HEY, Thanks SMAH. That did the trick for me too. Very easy to follow the regedt32 instructions.

Thank you.
