Password Policy per OU revisited

Been checking around and found some older posts concerning Windows 2003 AD and password policies. Is there any chance that a 2003 AD (not 2008 AD) can now have varying password policies per OU? Was hoping for some service pack, revision upgrade, etc... to 2003 that has overcome the limitation to a global domain policy only.

As others, I have both OUs with computer IDs and OUs with user names. If not, I'd be interested in 3rd party apps if available.

No. Requires Server 2008 and a domain functional level of 2008. And even then, it's not a simple thing to do. It's overly complicated. I'm hoping that gets streamlined in the future.
