Password help

I have just got a new computer and can't wait to play with my new toy. My problem is this; When i connect to the internet through my broad band connection on my old computer, I don't have to enter user name and password as windows remembers it. I can see what my user name is but the password is written like******* and i can't remember what it is.
I have contacted my service provider and they said i have to wait 5 working days to receive a new password BUT I WANT TO TRY OUT MY NEW COMPUTER NOW. Surely there must be a way for me to retrieve my password so i can get rid of this old computer. Please help!

Get a new service provider! Making you wait 5 days is just not on. I have this problem all the time with clients and have always been able to get the password (or a new one) immediately over the phone or by email.

and check out StarPW.exe(about 1/2 way down)

This reveals windows ****** passwords.
When you run the program, pick up the little cross-hair with the mouse (left button) and drop it on the ***** password. It Should then reveal the password !.

If that doesn't work try the
"Dialup Password Recovery" program on the same link. It searches your harddrive for the DUN password.

or try
"Password Recovery Suite". This is rated the best as it finds all your passowrds including the DUN password. All the programs are available through the link above.

Thanks for the advice. However i managed top persuade my ISP to give me a new one over the phone.
