I am attempting to change a user's password. One user in particular I cannot change, as Macola reports "Old (current) password incorrect for user. The password has not changed. Progression Password does not match SQL Server password for xxxxx."

I have tried synch passwords with SQL, but that did not work. Any suggestions?

It looks like you are trying to change the user's password in Enterprise Manager. You don't want to touch the Macola user's password there. You only want to modify the Macola users through visual menu builder in Macola's system manager module. You'll have to be logged in as SUPERVISOR to do this. Macola will then sync the password with SQL.

I am trying to change the password in Macola's System Manager Module.

The passwords don't synch up somewhere. The easiest thing to do is delete the username and username_sql from security logins from enterprise manager, run synchronize with SQL in Visual Menu Builder and then change the password in Visual Menu Builder.
