Password Changes

Installing Option 11C 4.5. LD 17 for Password change, getting prompts that I cannot find, CDs that came with the switch 3.0. PSWD_COMP (ON or OFF) but cannot find a place change my passwords. Any clues?

OK. I think I just screwed up. I came to PSWD_COMP and proceeded to enter out of the change. Now the login and password has changed, but I don't know what it is. Any help? Thanks.

Thanks dlesap - but there is ne exception: The only way we will let someone post password details is if they also post their own modem number so we can remind them they should not post password details again.

No pwd display with rls 4.5 seems to be a problem for some guys not used with it

dlesap is right on this one. Passwords work completely differently in 4.5 even if you go through pdt. There are now "complex passwords".

Thanks for the post. The problem is resolve, and actually never existed, but for a strange anamolie by logging in via remote. Don't quite know why but it would not let me log in via remote. I went on site and had no problem. Tried again via remote and no problem. Change the password after figuring out the prompts and was successful. Thanks again.

Few times same problem appears on different PBX on remote or not. It seems that rls 4.5 bugs sometimes when trying to login.

Does anyone experience the same anywhere?
