Passport 2430 Password Recovery

I'm sure this topic has probably been covered before, but I can't find anything using search...

I have console access to a passport 2430, but the Manager password has been changed... Is there anyway to recover that password, or to default the router.... I can lose the config, that's not a problem..

You have to send the router to Nortel. There isn't a password recovery option like a Cisco.

Well....I'm pretty much in the same boat here. Nortell TS is saying to remove the flashcard and install a different one. Change the password than put the original flashcard back in and reboot. How well this works i'm not sure.
