Hi there,

I am running multiple websites and the authentication is based on windows basic authentication. If a user login to one site, and wants to visit other site it pop up windows authentication form asking for login and password.

Is there anyway that i can credentials to other website so the user login only once?

Nope, not by using basic authentication.

If the user is on a domain, and they're using domain logins for both pages you can change a setting in IE. Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Select Local Intranet and select custom level.

Scroll the the bottom and select Automatic Logon with Current User ID and password.

I ran across this the other day. I think that this is what you need...

Summary from this page...

"By default, URLs without dots in them are put in the "local intranet" zone.

(Amend this default by - in IE Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet -> Sites).

And by default sites, in the local intranet zone are set to use "automatic login."

Add the FQDN URL to the local intranet zone and the authentication will go away there too."

As mentioned above this probably applies to more than just sites with "dots" in the name, but the security settings seem to be what you need to look at.
