Hi,

I have an application which is importing this xml, it is being rejected because of the forward slash "/", the support we have for the application are telling me that XML is interpreting the slash as an end of line. Is this correct? if so do i have to escape the slash in some way?

I have managed to view the file in IE and it looks fine.

Thanks in advance
Dave

If you can open it as XML in IE, that means it is well-formed.

The "/" error must be specific to the application. The data within the XML must carry some sort of processing instructions that are malformed. You'll need to know the business logic of the application to work out whats wrong.

Thanks Jon, i have passed this back to the application support who told me it was an xml problem.

Cheers
