Passing a data list to a dialog's combo box

I'm having a lot of trouble getting this to work...

I've been able to send data to a dialog box, but I want to be able to prepare a list of options for a listbox/combobox, and send it to a dialog's combobox. I've been experimenting with the DoDataExchange and have sent single words and variables across, but I haven't been able to get the list of item data from the combobox and send that over. Does anyone know how I could achieve this?
