I have a Partner Endeavor with a processor and 3 206s

I am getting a high pitched noise.
I have gone as far as pulling all the lines and ext.
I have pulled all the 206s in a variety of combinations
I checked the outside lines and there is no noise on them.
I have changes the power source all with the same results. The noise continues.

One thing that is odd in that Extensions connected to the processor and 2 of the 206s have the noise where 1 of the 206s on bank 2 does not experience the noise.

Any ideas on how to T-Shoot any further.

Thanks,

Jake

I apologize they are 362ECs not 206s

The Endeavor line is quite old and it might be worth while to upgrade to a Partner ACS R6 system.

Chances are the problem is within the Endeavor processor itself. The fastest way to tell is to remove the processor from the carrier and connect it up as if it was being used as a stand-alone device. Connect a few extensions, telephone lines and the power and see if the noise is still there.

Just make sure to strap it down...it might start a mosh-pit. Nobody likes a thrashing phone system. So many cords.... [shocked]

Dex, A cordless moshpit is the only way to go.....
Watch out for the batteries!
