What would prevent us getting access to our Admin box? When dialing Intercom 777, then typing "0", we now get a mnessage that we are being transferred to operator.
Ok ...oops for being a newbie...Partner Mail VS Release 3.0, it seems taht the admin box is 99...no probelm...how to reset individual mailbox passwords....
Once you log in as the Admin, "Joyce the Voice" should provide some prompts to choose from. I don't have the flowchart available, but it should be fairly easy.
Dexman is correct- the admin extension you must enter as the login is 99# The default passwords for Partner Mail VS Releases 3-5 is xxxx#. The backdoor password is xxxx#
This password will always work and then allow you to change the current unknown password to whatever you wish by hitting "5"- change your password.
Here are the steps to log into voicemail administration:
1. Press Voice Mail button on phone.
2. Press 99# for extension number
3. Press 1234# for password (or whatever your password is).
4. Press 9 (hidden, the computer doesn’t prompt you for this.)
After you hit 9 you will hear all of the options available to you. Good luck!
Thanks to Dex & 805! I actually remembered a few years ago I had similar problem on an old VS and forgot that there was a difference beteween VS and Mail. Thanks again...
Cool! I got in trouble for posting passwords on this forum- my bad, I didn't really think about it. Glad to be of help..... BAD JR- no posting passwords!!!
