Anyone, Trying to help a friend with an inherited Partner system. It has 2, 3.1 206E's and 4.1 processor with a 4.1 Voicemail with expansion card 4/20. The phones are fine, but the mail seems to be hosed. Autoattendant will let you get to the internal mail / prompts - but no further. Autoattendant seems to have lost all recordings. It indicates "invalid message" when you try to record any kind of a greeting. I have an additional 5.0 module. Will it work in the system? Will there be a timing issue? Got any suggestions of what it might be? Can you remote admin these boxes? Will a merlin or any other voicemail work in the box?

Partner VS Mail Compatibility and AutoAttendant Error

The partner VS 5.0 will work fine with your configuration(no timing errors at all).If you call in remotely and the AA answers you can press *7 and enter the admin mailbox and the password(99#1234#) and you can do all the programming.The problem with old module it could be a hard drive proplem.I hope that helps.
