Has anyone ever downloaded a wav file for an Auto Attendant in any Partner VM system?

Thanks

um......yes

In Partner Messaging, using the Windows GUI, that is an option.

Did you have a question?......

Yes Tommy,

How do you program that to work on the system?

Thanks

You connect to the LAN port of the Messaging with your PC, either directly of through your network. You'll need to set an IP address in the Messaging, or your PC to be compatabile. Then you launch the GUI (comes on the CD with the Voice Mail).

Once you are logged in, go to the Auto Attendant, there is a button to listen to the recording. Once it transfers the wav file for you to listen to, there are options to save it to your PC, and to upload another file from your PC to replace it.

Save one from the Auto Attendant first, then open with something like cool-edit, because you need to match the bit rate for any file that you want to create and upload.
