I saw a reference for a Partner "Small Office Edition" on Avaya's website.

Listed is a processor with 3x8 capability, a Partner Voice Messaging card and Partner 6, 18, 18D and 34D telephone sets.

Given that the R7 processor is 5x9, could this be Avaya's attempt to unload older processors and telephone
desk sets? [ponder]

This is AVAYA's attempt at proven that they STILL dont know how to make a reliable phone system.........

Avaya is notoriously bad about keeping documentation up to date. Amazingly, the manuals are more up-to-date than the sales literature many times. Sometimes the vendors get new sales literature before it is posted on the Avaya web site.

I've tried to help them with this....

Hey groundstart,
What do you call reliable?? And don't say BCM 'cause that's worse.
I would accept Eon Millenium or eQueue as fine answers. Those used to be called ITT 3100's, only they are all growed up now.
