Partner Remote admin software

Hello all,
I am using the latest PC Administration software v6.0.0.9 on Windows XP. Completely new installation on laptop using an external modem setup to 19200bps.

Whenever I dial into a Partner ACS I get an 'invalid password' message. I am using Assisted Transfer and have checked the value for password using #730.

Any ideas?
 
#403, system password must be entered before you can access the remote programmer.

Found out what the #403 password was and still no luck. This password appeared as 'Xxxx-----' I only entered the x portion in various combinations of Upper/lower case. Was I also supposed to enter the dashes?

System password in #403 does not affect the remote access software, only the Remote Access Password, in #730. I don't know if the password is case sensitive, as I usually use a numeric password.
 
v6.0.0.9 is not the most recent. V6.0.0.11 is. Once you have the most recent version, UNINSTALL your modem drivers, then Shutdown and restart the Pc. Windows will find the drivers again and everything will be fine. Fixed my connection problems on 3 pc's
 
Sorry, no, the remote password is not case sensitive. MAKE sure you enter the password and then press enter. Wont save unless you press enter.
