Partner R7 Can you check voicemail from home via phone?

I have a Avaya Partner R& system with a large voicemail card. I use Partner 18 button telephones. Is there a way to retrieve your voicemail while at home or on travel via by dialing in? I know there is hardware to buy to have it sent to pc.

When answered by Voice mail dial *7 and follow instructions, the same ones as internal.

Or if you call in and the operator answers have them transfer you to 777 and that will do it to. Or they can transfer you to your mailbox and then you can dial *7.
