I have a Partner Plus that I installed 3 years ago. It has 2 - 206e Modules R3.1, a Partner Plus module R4.0 and a 200E module R3.1. It just started having Line ringing Bleed over. I checked the Demarc and the Lines seem to be fine, but when you are on a line and another line rings in, you can hear the ringing on the line that is in use. I tried swapping the 206s, but had the same problem on both. Could they both be bad? I found the following post on the same problem, but no one posted a resolution. thread688-917321
any assistance or advice will be appreciated.

I have had line bleeding caused by a processor as well as by a 5-slot carrier. I would try replacing each piece one at a time to determine what is causing it. Line bleeding is a huge headache.

The Partner Plus was discontinued at least eight years ago and those 206's are probably just as old. That means it's been "around the block" at least several times before it got to you. I wouldn't waste any money on it or used and abused equipment unless you want more of the same. I would recommend replacing it with an ACS.

Thanks for the info. It actually was a move. The owner owned the switch and moved into a new building 3 years ago, so I did a new install of an old piece of equipment. It has been virtually trouble free up until now.

I've had a couple of these problems lately. Can the Modules be repaired?
