I HAVE A ACS R6 W/PM R7. THE VOICEMAIL PORTS LOCK UP AND WHEN YOU DIAL I777 YOU GET BUSY TONE. REBOOT DOES NOT HELP ALLREADY CHANGED OUT PM CARD AND FLASH CARD 1 WEEK AGO NOW TODAY CUST SAYS SAME TBL AGAIN. I WILL BE GOING TOMORROW AM. ANY IDEAS?

Hi DUCOMM,
Check to make sure the vm ports only are in hunt group 7. Also make sure the cards are fully seated. It may help to check the error logs on the processor.

I have had two Messaging R6's go for a dump. It looked like hard drive controller failure. If you connect to the comm port on the Messaging module and power up, look for error messages. My failures were the same each time. You can see from the staus lights that the Messaging module does not initialize, it will give a busy in that state.

thanks, itphoneguy, now cust tells me her ext10 at times all buttons lites go red (34d) then comes back and that is when vm ports go busy.she says her phone is only one doing this but not sure. right now i am thinking it's the r-6 acs or her phone.pm is working ok again now.

Hi DUCOMM,
That tells me the entire system is resetting. Put it on a UPS to prevent small AC power drops from doing that.
