Got a call today to check out a Messaging that was having issues after a power outage and found that the status LED is blinking green to yellow over and over. I hear a slight "click" from the module when it tunrs yellow each time, which I assume is the HDD trying to work, but failing. This sounds like a dead HDD to me, but thought I'd ask around in case there is any way to bring it back (which I doubt).

Thanks!

Sounds like the drive is gone.

Check it by trying to access the voicemail (Intercom 777 or preset button). A busy signal = a dead drive. [ghost]

I have had several do this. Try a hard reset by unplugging it and letting it sit for 5 minutes. I had one do this last night. The cause was there staff got mad and slammed the door and the switch was on the same wall.

Let us know if it comes back up.

Yeah, I get a busy signal from it when I dial 777.

I will try the hard reset idea and see if it comes back.

I would also try pulling out all of your cards. Lust leave your Processor and the VM, to eliminate any bad cards/slots.

They are clicks of death. Sorry, your HD is gone.
